Atomic Weapons
The first atomic bomb was dropped in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The making of the atomic bomb was a super secret three year mission known as the Manhattan Project. Before the first atomic bomb was even tested in Los Alamos, a second atomic bomb was secretly dispatched to the Pacific for an attack on Hiroshima. The bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima are the only two attacks with nuclear weapons in the history of warfare. 60% of the victims of the two bombs died from flash or flame burns, 30% from falling debris and 10% from other causes.
